Pave the Way Skills Academy meets the California Department of Public Health requirements for nurse assistants. Pave the Way Academy’s Online Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program offers a comprehensive and accessible path to becoming a CNA—all from the comfort of your home. This program is designed for individuals seeking flexible learning options without sacrificing the quality and structure of in-person education.
Our program is delivered primarily through live, instructor-led sessions via Zoom. Classes are scheduled regularly and follow a structured curriculum that covers essential topics such as infection control, basic nursing skills, anatomy and physiology, patient rights, communication techniques, and safety procedures. Through interactive lectures, real-time demonstrations, and group discussions, students receive personalized support and immediate feedback from licensed instructors with real-world healthcare experience.
Students also have access to digital course materials, quizzes, and practice tests to reinforce learning and track progress. Our dedicated support team is available to assist with technical issues, study strategies, and program navigation.
Once the online instruction is complete, students will participate in a required in-person clinical training component at one of our approved facilities, where they’ll apply their skills in a real healthcare setting under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the state CNA certification exam.
